Oh man, me and Glitcher just had an awesome adventure. We wanted to look at and document the fortress at Tor'Watha in Eversong Woods for you guys, but we kind of couldn't complete what we wanted to. Which is just fine, because we found stuff way more awesome beyond Tor'Watha!!
So, let me begin with the screens!

This is about the best we could do of getting a look at the inside of the fortress at Tor'Watha. Honestly, it's not very exciting. However, that middle one IS kind of interesting... wonder what's down there..?
Oh, hey. So, what have we HERE? Looks like a steep drop-off into rock, a lake (that we'll show you, gladly!), and... snow? Maybe? Hm.
So, that lake thing I promised:

Something you'll find a lot in "the glitchlands" is that the edges of the world are... uh, edgy. Sharp. They're jagged. They're a pain to navigate and they're unsightly, unless they look cool. Then they're not so unsightly. This particular lake actually connects to a sea that touches the main continent-- but there's a wall stopping people from gaining access to this area without our mysterious methods.
But a little more interesting than the lake is the "snow"...

Hey, waitaminute. That isn't snow! That's... texture-less terrain! This is what happens when the developers don't add any sort of "texture" to the ground that they're molding-- it has a default "texture" that is completely white (and might I add, very shiny). This sort of thing is really fun to mess with, and kind of creepy. Imagine if you were walking on formless ground in real life, like a field of endless chrome.
But that's okay, because chrome can dent, and sometimes we find cute, sleeping Glitchers in them:

Aww.
Believe it or not though, this is only a tiny portion of what we're eager to show you. Let's move on to... THE END OF THE WORLD! *thunderclap*
Now, before we go too dramatic, the "end of the world" is just what happens when the terrain the developers put down runs out. It's an interesting thing to see because whenever you approach the end, there's a shiny, glowing wall that tries -- and fails-- to stop you from falling off the edge into infinity.
Whoa.
It looks pretty, and that's about it, though. You can jump through it, a fact me and Glitcher exploited later, in the climax of this adventure. For your viewing pleasure:

Oooh, pretty. Of momentary interest is the fact that the water overlapped with the terrain, and because of this lapse the water sometimes thought there was nothing beneath it... which meant we got fatigue sometimes! It was easily fixable by moving in pretty much any direction for a split second, but it's still interesting to notice.
Next stop... uh, well... we just kind of wandered the flat wastes for a while, hoping for something cool.
At least it was prettyful.
When we were exploring, we came across two awesome things, one exponentially more awesome than the other. We'll detail that in our next post!

Funny story: When Glitcher (a priesty) fell here, she died. As a shammy, I had the honor of finding a lower place to fall from, praying, and rezing her. ;P
