So, now that I've got you salivating (or not), it's time for screens!

This is the top of it. As you might notice, it's directly even with the ground around us. That happens a lot out here-- see our last post, part 1, for what happens when water and ground occupy the same space.

This is what it looks like under the water. As you can see in the one where I'm looking down, those jagged edges are kind of cone-like. I wonder what happens if you go to the bottom..?

Whoa. Trippy. And it WAS trippy going down, because the water effect made the entire geometry ripple. It was like going into a portal of sorts.
So that was pretty aces. But now for the main event! What happens when Woden and Glitcher see a continent beyond the end of the world..? Well, they want to see what the heck it is, of course!

So that's what we did. We journeyed to a strip of land that actually led to the end of the world amidst a sea of fatigued water (thanks, Blizzard map designers!), and decided, "Hey, let's jump off the end of the world and hope our corpse takes us somewhere interesting."
So uh... we did.

Wheeeeeee!!
By the way, that water? That's about as deep as it gets there. That's what fatigue water is-- just really deep water. You can tell I was far away because you can actually see the bottom of the land and the surface of the water.
The cool thing about dying off the end of the world is that even though the camera locks in at a certain point horizontally, your body is still moving, falling down. So we just waited to see what would show up...
...and we found ourselves in Netherstorm.

"Wait, what? How did you get to Outland from Ghostlands?"
Well, I had already known that the Outlands were on the same map as the Ghostlands and Azuremyst, because of the way Blizzard put the continents. But never did I dream that we'd find a way to actually confirm that on a live server! We were pretty stoked. We were kind of hoping that it would allow us to rez in Netherstorm, but no such luck-- it dumped our ghosts in Westfall (which we'd later find isn't a rare occurence) with our corpses somewhere in Alterac (ditto). Despite all my technical knowledge of game systems, I'm still wondering how the heck that happens, so if anyone has any guesses, I'm all ears!
And that's all for our epic journey into the fortress of Tor'Watha. I'm sorry we couldn't find a way past the closed gate this time, but I'm pretty satisfied with what we found instead!
